2 Cookies

To simplify the use of our website, we use cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the cache of your browser to enable your browser to be recognized. Cookies enable us to analyse your surfing habits in an anonymous form (see point 3 below). Personal data will only be stored in cookies if you have explicitly agreed to this.

It is also possible to use our website without cookies. You can prevent the use of cookies by changing the settings in your browser software. If you deactivate the option for storing cookies, this may mean that you cannot use all the functions of this website.

3 Web analytics

3.1 Web analytics with Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").

Google Analytics uses so-called cookies (see point 2 above) to allow your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On this site, IP anonymisation has been activated, so that within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area your IP address is shortened in advance. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will on behalf of the operator of this website use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with other services related to the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transferred by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate browser settings. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all the features of the website.

You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) from being transmitted to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser add-on available under the following link:  http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. You can also find more information here about deactivation and the correct installation of the browser add-on.

You can also prevent Google Analytics from recording your data by clicking on the link below. This will generate an opt-out cookie that will prevent the future collection of your information when you visit this website – as long as you leave this cookie stored in your browser and continue to use the browser used to click on this opt-out link: Disable Google Analytics.

Note: Browser and operating system updates can cause the browser add-on to no longer work as intended, leaving Google Analytics activated. If you use a cookie to prevent the use of Google Analytics and then delete it by, for example, selecting a browser setting to delete all cookies at the end of each browsing session, the Google Analytics opt-out cookie, too, will be deleted and will have to be re-activated by you.

For more information on Google Analytics see the Google Analytics Terms of Service, the Google Analytics Security and Privacy Principles and the Google Privacy Policy.
